West Lothian College’s ladies’ Futsal teams are set to test themselves against the best in West Lothian and throughout the UK. The Livingston-based college will host and partake in the prestigious British Universities and College Sports (BUCS) league for the first time in October. Rutherford Ladies were the first ever women’s side in Gateshead when formed in 2001 and entered the Northern League, finishing in fifth position in their first season. Katherine Coxon played in that first season and is still playing for the club, with well over 200 appearances.
