KoldingQ FC is a women’s football club based in Kolding, a city in southern Denmark. The club was founded in 2009 as a collaboration between two local clubs, Nr. She scored 19 goals in her first season, helping KoldingQ finish third in the league and qualify for the first time for the UEFA Women’s Champions League. She repeated her feat in the next two seasons, scoring 18 and 17 goals, respectively, and leading KoldingQ to two more bronze medals.
Lotte Troelsgaard joined her twin sister at KoldingQ in 2013 from Team Viborg. She is a versatile midfielder who can also be a forward or a defender. She has been a critical player for KoldingQ, contributing with goals and assists. She has also been a regular member of the Danish national team since 2007, earning over 100 caps and scoring over 20 goals.
Stina Lykke Petersen joined KoldingQ in 2017 from Linköpings FC, a Swedish club where she won two league titles and one cup title. She is one of the best goalkeepers in Denmark and has been the first choice for the national team since 2009. She has played over 80 times for Denmark and was part of the squad that reached the final of the UEFA Women’s Euro 2017.
